- Eggs can be a great source of protein for your hair. The yolk is rich in fats and proteins which is extremely moisturizing. The whites contain bacteria eating enzymes that cleanse hair and scalp from unwanted oils.
- For normal hair use whole egg to condition; use just yolks to moisturize dry, brittle hair; and use just whites to treat oily hair. Make sure you make enough to cover all your hair and scalp.
- If you live in an urban area or use a lot of product try replacing the avocado with yogurt from time to time. Yogurt can help reverse hair damage caused by product build up and air pollution. The lactic acid in yogurt gently strips away dirt while the milk fat moisturizes.
- Coconut oil's unique fat is great for moisturizing and strengthening. Prevents hair shedding and breakage. Great for scalp issues such as dandruff and dermatitis. And has been reported to help with hair growth.
