I am totally beyond OBSESSED! with this product! My hair naturally has bigger curls and waves which I love, but I hate the crunchy, flaking gel products that I would have to use for my hair. I also hate that because my curls aren't tight normal gel doesn't give it the uniformity to look like a great style. re:coil has a curl activator in it that will coil up natural curl & wave and will also create waves that you thought were impossible on pin straight hair.
How I Use It:
- On lightly, towel dried hair distribute a nickle to quarter sized amount of the product between hands (amount varies depending on length & thickness of hair, a little goes a long way with this stuff).
- Flip your head upside down & begin scrunching the product throughout your hair.
- Give the product at least 5 minutes to set (a little longer if your hair takes longer to dry).
- Flip your hair upside down, scrunch lightly with your hands again.
- Using a blow dryer with a diffuser let a section of your hair fall into the cup of the defuser then push it to your scalp and dry for a few seconds. Move on to a new section & repeat the same motion all over your head until your hair is dry.
- I lightly spray my hair with a flex hold hair spray while my head it still upside down, then again when I flip it back over.
This is one of my Round Table Ladies, Shauna. Her hair is naturally board straight & its near impossible to get curl or body in it. The picture on the right shows the wave & volume we got with the re:coil and it lasted all night!
